World of Guns: Gun Disassembly - 19 Century GunsĪre you familiar with this game? Help document and preserve this entry in video game history! I thoroughly enjoyed what the weapons in the free product and learned something in the process. Not a problem really though as the sound can be controlled via the host machine.Īlso the main menu screen looks a little odd, not in a bad way and if I owned and used the full product I expect I'd get used to it pretty quickly but first impressions were 'What do I do with this?'Ī sort of 3D jigsaw for grown-ups. The background music may not to be to everyone's taste and I didn't see a way to disable it in-game. This is good product and there's very little to find fault with. When I tried to access a different weapon it could be unlocked either by paying for Full Access at a cost of 29.99 GBP or by 60,000 experience points and one credit which I guess means that if you don't want the full product it's possible to get single weapons as downloadable content. The STEAM free download is, in effect, a shareware version of the full product as it only has a limited number of weapons available. I was surprised to see that the range of Premium Downloads for the product included tanks, cars, and skeletons. All models can be rotated, fired, fired in slow motion, stripped completely or field stripped. I liked the multiple X-ray views, these either showed the whole gun in X-Ray mode or some parts as X-Ray and others as solid so that they could be seen working. As parts are removed/assembled big green arrows appear to show what goes where and the product will not allow you to put a part in the wrong way up or in the wrong order. The graphics are clear and easy to follow. Little details appealed to me and showed the quality of the product, for example when field stripping the Webley MK VI the game used an old threepenny bit to undo the cylinder cam lever lock screw. I downloaded this from STEAM because it was free and looked like something a bit different. Majority of our models can be unlocked for free by anyone power players will be able to achieve 100% completion and unlock ALL the gun models without spending a dime. Noble Empire releases several new models every month, and improves the older ones. There are few ways to understand the different firearm actions and systems as clearly. Each part out of hundreds functions in a physically correct way – exactly as it does in a real thing. To create each model, our team spends months poring over actual guns, photos, blueprints and documents. World of Guns has been used as a learning aid by armorers, law enforcement and military personnel.
